Taking a break for the summer to catch up with family, friends, houses, gardens, cars, bars and for me at least, a haircut. Back to performances in September and maybe the odd thing here and there between. Chris will be in Ireland for the next couple of months, so you're likely to see her at various weekends and summer schools. Stay in touch!

Back on the road in September, in the popular Stonehaven Folk Club in Aberdeenshire. That will be on Friday the 20th of the month. And later in the month we'll be sharing a stage with Shona Donaldson and Paul Anderson, Finzean Hall, in the Strachan area, Aberdeenshire.
Friday, August 1st, 2025.
Well, that was a longer break than planned! Family stuff and health issues have been front and centre for most of the last year and put a stop to travelling and performing, other than sessions and a couple of festival back rooms. September, (must be something about September), we're at the Aberdeen Folk Club (September 10th) and October finds us at the Hartlepool Festival (3rd to 5th October).
Chris, with Amy Lord, Aileen Carr, Barbara Dymock, and Elspeth Cowie will be touring the Wheen o' Wimmin performances from the 13th of November to 21st November. The concept grew from their performaces at the Celtic Connections Scots Women concert in 20204 and promises to be several wonderful evenings of unaccompanied song from five of Scotland's foremost singers.
